Kerri Donnelly, Regional Business Development Director, Montcare Health Services, and Board Member, Village Support Network (VSN) This interactive workshop is designed to help Villages strengthen their online presence with posts that connect, engage, and inspire action. Learn how to:
- Share stories that reflect your mission and values
- Highlight programs, volunteers, and community partnerships
- Plan consistent, purposeful content that builds trust and visibility across social media accounts
We’ll focus on what to post and why it matters, rather than how to use or set up the platforms themselves. Open to all Village staff and volunteers involved in marketing, outreach, communications, or member engagement. Bring your questions!

Presented by WAVE - experienced nonprofit accountant Julie Hamre provided an overview of best practices for nonprofit financial accounting, including maintaining a chart of accounts and formulating a budget. Julie also covered how to account for in-kind donations, the roles of a bookkeeper vs. treasurer, and also the Form 990. There will be time for Q&A.
